[REQUEST] please help me to find out backlight malfunctioning component

Hello, please help me to find out backlight malfunctioning component with the help of this given schematic. i have replace couple of LCDs but backlight not working on all LCDs, what i understand that, there is a problem on motherboard and i find out schematic for this motherboard, which is i am going to attached with this message, the problem is i am unable to understand schematics, i need your help to find the malfunctioning components, there is no any component around the LCDs connector so it is very difficult for me to find the fault.

If the PCB has silk-screening of part numbers, check R187 for open circuit. However, I think you should leave the job to a tech more experienced in component level repairs, given that you are unable to read schematics.

If you don't have a scope, get a magnifier and check those small wires inside that FPC. Those long FPCs have a habit of the end wires (backlight voltage are on end wires) getting warm and no longer make contact with the cable. I have a picture or two in this forum that shows what I'm talking about. The wires should all protrude a bit from the block so they touch the cable when you insert it.
