Anybody have any luck with any retractable Cat5e cables for quick connecting systems on a repair bench?

Over the last year I have tried IOgear and Tripplite retractable cables and have gotten maybe a month of good use out of several instances of both, before suddenly systems only intermittently connect using the cables, and eventually they just stop working altogether. It seems as though they are decent cables, but cant handle being connected and disconnected several times daily.

I have just been using short patch cables to connect systems to keystone jacks, but I would much prefer retractables connected to the keystone jacks. Any suggestions on specific models of retractable ethernet cables that stand the test of time?

You've noticed a common denominator in those retractable cords.

I believe they're just not made for near-daily usage.

Convenient for the traveling laptop user on occasional trips..that's about it.

http://www.cableorganizer.com/ is a great place for..cable organization stuff. I've seen a retractable one in their site somewhere...6 or 8 footer...but I suspect that wouldn't last all too long either. But if you peruse their site you may find something else that may work for you.
