Sage 200 - error converting data type varchar to bigint

We recieved the following error when trying to print a credit note through sage 200 "error converting data type varchar to bigint". This is an ongoing fault for sage 200 and only occurs periodically when using the "credit notes" button at the top of the page. As a work around, select "Document Printing" from the left hand side, then select "Print Credit Notes". This will resolve the problem until sage releases a patch.

I thought i'd best post this as google just kept pointing me to stack overflow and irrelevant results, hopefully this will help somebody down the linE.
