Smart plug for router power cycle

I've seen that Ubiquiti has a smart plug that will automatically cycle the power if the internet connection is lost. It requires wifi though which we really don't have at these rural sites. It would be too much to install a USG (or a dream machine I guess since USG seems discontinued) and wifi if needed just to run the plug.

Anyone know of a wired ethernet version of a similar device?

Thanks

I know I'll get excoriated, but you mean to tell me that whoever is near that router (and what's been said so far suggests human presence) cannot be expected to flip the on-off switch when connectivity goes down?

It's one thing if you're dealing with a remote location with no human presence, but power cycling a router is so dirt simple if there's a human presence that automating it seems to be huge overkill.

I don't see where a normal smart plug is going to monitor the connectivity and automatically cycle the power?
That's where the Raspberry Pi and Home assistant would come in.. Set a "sensor" in Home Assistant to ping 8.8.8.8 or whatever every 15 seconds. If it fails to ping (or fails for X time or X tries) then you can have Home assistant toggle the smart plug off and on.
