Strange Cloud Icon Appearing...

Hi guys


When I insert a USB or external drive into a pc a cloud appears on the files and folders on the USB and External Drive. There is no backup ie. dropbox google drive etc installed. I have searched everywhere online but can't find anything similar any ideas?

Running W7 Pro

That sure looks like iCloud to me. Are you sure iTunes is not installed?

So this does not happen when those same devices are plugged into another PC? iCloud has 4 lobes and is not symmetric, this appears to be 3 lobes and is symmetric. For some reason it rings a bell. I tried doing a reverse image but the image size is very poor. Have you tried looking at the icon properties to see what icon it's mapped to?

Good question, i dunno, i found a site that says the cloud icon means the file is only in the cloud but those files are really there on your flash drive right? so I dunno.

Hmm... Never seen that with Google. Sync'd files show up with a green check mark. Files to be sync'd show up as a rotating blue circle of arrows.
