Tab 3 new battery

Doing one of those neighbor favor things. Galaxy Tab 3 GT-P5210. Was told it did not work but it's just a battery issue. Only runs for a few minutes from full charge. Anything pitfalls or hints I should know about? TIA.

@Markverhyden - Easy peasy. The back cover snaps off and the battery is right there. Shouldn't be any issue at all.

Thanks. Only done iDevices before and, as expected, they are a major pain. Not designed to be repaired.

Look up a couple videos first for that exact model. Some of the samsung stuff opens when you pry from the seam between the "glass" and the plastic bezel, while others open from the seam between the plastic bezel and the back cover itself. If you get it wrong you might damage it without realizing you're prying in the wrong spot.

I have one of these tablets. The back is easily removed with your finger nails.

Battery replacement shouldn't be too hard. Be careful when removing the back, tabs like to break.
