Any idea if you can erease/reset the password on a panasonic Toughbook cf-28, not that its that terribly important, its my own machine, and everything is enabled(that I can tell) and seems to be working fine. I just don;t like have access to everything on my own machine.;)

You could also remove the cmos battery for a minute. That should do a bios reset. Also, there's the old trick of removing the battery and power cord and holding the power button for a minute or two.

eureka!I

I pulled the battery and that seemed to work the best. And kind of a little kudo for me....I got the touch screen utility working on XP pro, so everything is working, and I LOVE this machine. No More worries about customers spilling stuff, or bumping it off a table, and now I can work outside, this thing is the "hummer" of laptops! Thanks so much for the help. BTW Tried KillBIOS, and it just laughed at me. SO I will go out and spread the good word to others that are struggling with these same problems, You guys are great!:)

i have a touchbook c-73 , it wasnt so tough when a four year old stepped on the screen :( still works but just a long single crack across it

@ AtYourservice Just had a quick look at your site "yourserv.us" and it's nice to see my Google ad at the bottom :)

The BIOS whooooah, sends shivers down my spine after I destroyed a £200 mobo from a Toshiba with a password, I was informed by an insider at Toshiba that if I grounded both sets of chip legs then this would reset the password. FAIL
Never again!!
