Transfer or reinstall Microsoft Office 2019 FFP on a reinstalled computer?

I spent too much time on a Lenovo ThinkPad trying to fix a booting issue.
(changed settings in BIOS, restored deleted partitions, tried to repair Windows, and to fix boot)

At the end, cloning the SSD (to save everything), and reinstalling Windows was the easiest way.
The file structure is good. Only booting was a problem.
The client has very few files that I will easily transfer.

I currently need to reinstall or migrate (from the clone) Office 2019 Home & Business (FFP retail version).
I don't have the box at my office, as it is at the customer's home.

Is there a way to migrate Office 2019 easily from the clone to the original reinstalled SSD?
Or should I better ask to the client its retail box to reinstall/reactivate?

I can copy the files, preserving attributes if necessary, but what about migrating the license and all registry-related things?
Can this be done easily?

During load time Office probes the hardware. Any changes, including HD, triggers registration process. Do they have a M$ account?

You will need a serial number in the retail box, hopefully they will have
Maybe it's different in different countries, but in the US since 2013 the key that comes in the box is not the one that activates the software. You need to enter the key in a Microsoft Account.

If I were doing that in the US I'd go in to their Microsoft account and you can find the product keys there (assuming you can get them to remember what account they used, etc.)

Unless I am missing something, Office keys from I think 2013 up have only ever been used for initial activation, they are never used again, you sign in with your MS account to activate.

The days of hard code serial is over, it's all about online accounts.

There were a few MAK/Specialized license that did use hard coded keys, but they are a rare breed.
