Received emails today that SkyKick is being acquired by Connectwise (We're "joining" them, whatever that means), and also that Progress Software is buying Sharefile from Citrix. We only have a few M365 backups with Skykick, but we have quite a few clients who use Sharefile. Citrix already managed to double the price of Sharefile during it's tenure, I'm not looking forward to another round of price increases.

I tried Skykick with one client and hated it. I much prefer DropSuite. Even Axcient was better than Skykick, though I still prefer DropSuite. Glad I don't have anyone on Sharefile at the moment. Good product, though.

We used Skykick quite a few times for 365 migrations....its approach is different than BitTitan (MigrationWiz)...however I grew to like it more for migrations.

Also almost 2 years ago we signed up for SkyKicks 365 Manager, as well as the add on....365 Security Manager. Got all excited about it, but after onboarding, grew frustrated with it. Found their "community" was...very lacking. Dead user forums. Called their support a couple of times...was very disappointed in their response.

The one good thing about it, they had a quick 'n easy tool to migrate your client tenants (under your partner account) to GDAP....very quick 'n easy. That was worth a few thousand bucks in time right there!

Cancelled it just a couple of months ago, as I ended up onboarding with SaaS Alerts..MUCH happier.

SaaS Alerts is great! My MSSP uses it, and I buy through them (because they monitor it 24x7 for me). Do you still use Skykick for backups, or just for migrations? I still prefer BitTitan for migrations as well.
