For the most part, they're sticking to their guns which, to my way of thinking, isn't a bad thing. Windows 10 will still be in support until most of the hardware that's not Windows 11 compatible reaches its end of functional service life, and I'll have at least several machines that fit that category where Windows 10 will be the end of the line.

Yep, and no more hand holding for initial Home edition setup.

Actually it looks like you can bind the device to your account, then remove it before handing it over... it's a little annoying but not too hard. Just have to make sure to decrypt first.
