I have started fiddling with UrBackup based on a recommendation in these forums and am finding that there are things I love about it, and others that make me insane. In the latter category is the documentation, particularly on the client side. Here's a screenshot from the UrBackup Client for the Image Backup Tab, but the icons circled are used elsewhere, including in a few spots on the server:
The lock icon definitely does not mean that the value to its left is locked, as you can type over it even when the lock is present. In the client if I do type a new value in a field with a lock to its right then the icon changes to the one circled directly above it, which looks like a small stretch of highway. The third (and last) icon is the home icon.
These have to represent how the client and server can interact with one another based on the permissions set in the server (for what the clients can do) but it is not at all clear how.
I can't seem now to completely disable the taking of full image backups on one client machine where I really don't want them (because this is an experiment). There are a number of things where the server permissons (see screenshot below) seem to permit the client to override defaults, but the client seemingly cannot.
There seems to be no real documentation regarding Client configuration at all.
