Usb insertion.

The same with a RGB connector - they are never right the first time.:mad::mad:

Actually yesterday I was thinking if the USB connector could be made different to prevent that. Would be better, then users wouldn't be forcing them into the jack and breaking them.

Yea it's called USB-C. The future of USB. However nothing will stop a user from breaking a port. Even round plugs in a round hole with no pin still get broken >.>.

Yep, i find it amazing that something with a 50/50 chance is correct on the 3rd attempt. Even if i look to check the correct orientation first, still the 3rd time!

What's even worse is when you have to try multiple ports multiple times.

Makes you question every life decision you have ever made

Sometimes it actually takes me 4 tries since the first try might end up in the NIC if I'm just feeling around back there.

Goddamn @Kraken with a comment like that I just coughed up coffee all over the keyboard (Lucky it's waterproof) a 100 year old reference man now I'm sure your profile picture is the real one :D

Edit for the young ones you might know the alternative :
"That's what (s)he said!"

I've heard it said, when the guy who designed the USB port dies, they'll start to lower the coffin, then pull it back up, turn it 180 degrees, and lower it all the way.

He tried to make the orientation ubiquitous but they wouldn't let him because added $0.17 to the cost. He tried and tried but the USB was such an unsure thing already (at the time) the big players that made the hardware said no. I've read the interview with the designer but I can't seem to find it now.
