Save time and give the user a better start on their new device :)

The latest USMTGUI and User Profile central (UPC) from EhlerTech both utilize USMT and are 100% compatible with Windows 11.
- Updated XML files includes the latest Windows 11 settings and favorites for Edge, Firefox and Chrome browsers included.

UPC is a Central management interface allowing you to run USMT remotely on any Domain PC on your network.

I remember using the original Windows XP USMT tool. I haven't bothered in years since learning about @fabs here at Technibble. Of course, I haven't worked on a domain-joined account in years either.

@Kitten Kong

@Thomas Ehler there are rules about peddling your own or others products on this forum.

@nlinecomputers
People here were already using Fabs and asked here about support and then Fabs announced himself. He did not spam the forum with his product first.

Thomas Ehler is the expert on Azure migrations and he cannot announce his product while FABs can??
The Ehlertech Azure migration TOTALLY saved my ass a while back

This is to be honest really sad.
Is there no way this could be reconsidered?

I agree. I didn't find his post to be spam. There are useful products out there and it is useful to have the vendor on the site. As long as they don't go overboard. There is a guy that always posts about his AV tool. (Sorry I am blanking on the name...)

I think I tried this thing like...15 years ago. It was crap. Hopefully it's improved. I suspect it has if it's been able to hang on for this long. Looking forward to reading some member reviews and maybe a side by side comparison with @fabs. Fabs updates his software so frequently that I don't think this product will be able to compete, but who knows?

I sincerely apologise for my earlier transgression.

I'm having a totally crazy crap week, amd took it out on the op.

I have lifted the action taken, and made the account a vendor.
No problem. And thank you!
And I am SO sorry if I crossed a line there!

Been on here for a while and noticed FABs brilliant thread and did not think it would be an issue.
- Should have asked of course!!!

I am glad to still be here. Ever since Social.technet was "destroyed" by MS it has been hard finding good Forums

2007ish.. That has to have been the very first attempt..
Back then I just started coding (VB6 :-) and at least USMTGUI was free back then (which meant ppl didnt bother to send feedbacks).
Certainly had me a surprise when I started charging $10, got bombed, and had to rewrite the whole thing (10th major edition now)

Thomas, could the Outlook autocomplete lists be exported by USMTGUI as part of the user migration or some other automated means?
Not really. to do that USMT would have to be able to load the users outlook profile (ie knowing userID and password) and that is not an option:
Credentials are stored in the Credential manager and I as a programmer (luckily) do not have access to that data ;-)

Disk Imaging for safety
BTW, regarding UPC, did you consider our suggestion having an option in UPC to create a disk Image?
For instance a a VHD image would be really nice to have, when discovering the user is missing some data, and the PC has been reinstalled...
