Greetings everyone, I am establishing a new business whereas I am exploring different solutions for a dedicated primary phone-number that meets the following preferential criteria. I don't have a history of selling VOIP solutions so my expectations may be unreasonable. I am hoping you all can provide me with suggestions, advice, or even a sales pitch! Thank-you!

- Primarily utilized with Android mobile phone, secondary is a Windows PC. No specific handset requirements.
- Localized area-code (British Columbia, Western Canada)
- Incoming / Outgoing SMS text messages
- Fully compatible with SMS code verifications / OTP
- New phone number with no history / former association
- Full ownership of number, able to transfer number to different providers
- On-the-fly self customization of caller-ID name to be displayed for outgoing calls
- Availability of international area codes for future business aspirations (876, Jamaica)

There's literally dozens if not hundreds of full service communications providers. Many of them offer various types of partnerships, affiliations, etc. Nothing personal but all you're really doing is trying to re-invent a wheel that people have been trying re-invent for years, even decades.

If you want to do some hands on look at freePBX. It's an OSS implementation of a GUI management interface for Asterisk. It stays free for 5 users or less. You still need a SIP trunk but they have a built in offer for one for 2-3 weeks if I remember. I've started it but as usually I have to make a living so it keeps getting pushed to the side. So I haven't quite gotten to a finished product.
