After a mind numbingly long journey, I'm finally confident enough in the business framework I've set up to begin advertising in my city. I'm not expecting to be overwhelmed by response, but it did get me wondering about the situations of my fellow nibblers as a crude gauge of what I might be in for. I realize there are a million factors that contribute to workload, such as number of competitors and the local economy, but to keep it simple I'm only asking for your typical number of jobs per week/month/whatever and an estimate of the population for the area you service. I'll start:
Population: 40,000
Monthly jobs: 15 (once the ads have run for a bit, I hope/expect to have this many but I'm pulling the number out of the air)
I guess the one other thing to put numbers in context is business type. Are you a storefront or a strictly mobile tech? I'm a mobile tech with remote support capabilities and a nice workshop in my basement.
Sorry if this has been done before, but times change and i didn't see this question asked recently.
