Got the super-sweet Legion 5 Pro from Walmart for $1399 (QHD Display, Ryzen 7 5800, RTX 3070, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD).

So, now I gotta get rid of my old laptop. What do you suggest I ask for it? It's in very good cosmetic condition.

The numbers I'm giving you are based on estimates and whatnot. Take them with a grain of salt.

I used to work at a pawn shop, we would sell something like that for about $399 - $499.95 Canadian, that's based on a 20% pawn rate based on original retail value and a markup. (Translated to Canadian the $800 price tag is closer to $1000 dollars, so we would give a loan of around $200 ish as a ballpark, then if the loan defaulted mark up from there.) The $100 variable is there for condition.

Selling private can sometimes get you more, but also comes with more headaches.

Why not put it in inventory and see if a customer needs it? You'll get a better price that way.

What's your definition of sell? My definition of sell is have it leave my hands in 7 days, as an example. I did a quick look at eBay and there's a handful, including used for a bit less than what you paid. Use the advanced search below to see what's been sold on eBay.
