What do you recommend? I have tried vinegar, soap, and salt, but I want something more potent. 20% vinegar would be perfect but it's too expensive from what I have seen.

Edit:

I am going to get this concentrated killer and this sprayer. It's not environmentally friendly but it will get the job done real good and real cheap. Using 10oz of the weed killer per 1 gallon of water will make 12 gallons of strong weed killer for $20.

Boiling water is the absolute cheapest thing to kill weeds.

You can torch weeds.

Vinegar + Salt + Dish Soap may work. I think boiling them would give you the ultimate economical and environmentally safe weed killer.

I saw a post on Facebook earlier in the week.

It mentioned a bottle of Apple cider vinegar, together with epsom salts.. Approx ½ cup full.

Mix these 2 up in a spray bottle (basically shake it), and spray on the weeds. The weeds are dead and gone within 24 hours.

Unsure of this though.. So please take it with a pinch of salt.

Nice science @Appletax. Very well investigated.

And fire? - Hmmm.....not so much. I burn yearly out by my garden. Just makes the grass/weeds come back greener/stronger. With fire no roots are killed and fertilizer is created.
