What's up with these weird Facebook posts with hashtags?

I keep seeing tons of posts by various pages that have very strange hashtags that have nothing to do with what the page shared. It's so weird. My guess is that they are crappy bot accounts made by sick people trying to somehow scam people with these posts. I have never once seen anyone in the comments on the post say anything about the hashtags as if most everyone pays no attention to them - plus, the hashtags are hidden in that a person has to click show more to see the rest of the post's text.

A lot of times, I see "Best Comic Funny." Weird.

It's like keywords on a website, but for Facebook. It can help with FB post exposure and searches.

I don't see any of those. Are you reporting them as spam? If not, perhaps you should. I would find them seriously disruptive, if they popped up on a thread I was reading.

Solution: close Facebook > delete account > go outside... problem solved...

I see the same thing. The last one with the 10 facts and the a completely unrelated image/meme(usually with text) is fairly new on my feed
