Started our 5x road trip last week, driving, been in Savannah for a few days. Tomorrow...wheels up for St. Augustine for 5 days or so. Never been to either of those two. Love the REALLY old stuff here in Savannah...when you look at some of the buildings, or..walk the lower riverwalk and look at that wall, and those steep stairs...just knowing how OLD they are, what they've seen, and generations of people that have walked there.
Being food nuts...we're enjoying the food!
After St Augustine, driving to Siesta Key for almost a week..been there many times, and then down to Rotonda West...just south of Venice and Englewood, by Cape Haze/Placida, rented a house there for 2 weeks.
And then drive back home to the north for the first week of March....stopping in Charleston SC for a couple of days.
