Windows 10 2004 is the Next Feature Update, Preps for Tests

Microsoft has officially stated that the next Windows 10 feature update coming this Spring, and previously called 20H1, will be Windows 10 2004.

For the past couple of Windows 10 Insider builds there has been a noticeable lack of new features and major improvements, with the release notes mostly containing bug fixes. When this happens, it historically means that Windows is getting ready to prep a Release build for testing.

Microsoft released the Windows 10 Insider build 19033 yesterday and in its release notes, Microsoft has confirmed that the next version of the operating system will be Windows 10 version 2004.

That was always a development code like 19h1 and 19h2 until it is finalized. But it leads us to the probable release month 04-April.

To me, the "size" makes absolutely no difference.

I have so seldom had problems with feature updates on any of the 5 machines in my household or gotten calls from clients about same that I presume they will go without a hitch. I am aware that they don't, for some, but I am also aware heading into 5 years into the era that "that some" is a very small number among the Windows 10 embedded user base.

It helps when you are getting paid to remote and do it for them. I sell this as a service and do pretty well.
