Hi guys,
It's been a while since an update because of version 2, as it was so far ahead of scedule, I decided not release any more minor builds. For those who don't know what WinPKR is... It's a technicians handy tool to view/backup the OS Product Key and view License, OS and Computer information. I only release this program on Technibble and it's completely free.
v2.0.1 (Major)(Fix) Changes made:
1.) Completely new UI with professional look
2.) Backend code has been completely rewritten
3.) WinPKR now uses advanced methods to retrieve Operating System and Computer information
4.) Application check has been readded
5.) Tabs added containing more detailed Computer information
6.) Resource usage monitor added
7.) Readme/Disclaimer to be downloaded with WinPKR
8.) This version of WinPKR is does not support Windows XP
9.) WinPKR now depends on .NET Framework 2, not .NET Framework 4
10.) WinPKR now includes functions to check if Windows is activated and how it has been activated
Fix #1. Broke the Product Key retrieval process (Slaps self)
Fix #2. Load time cut by 8+ seconds
Download it here
Feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, David.
