Yet another password reset method for W7, 8, 10

I've been using the utilman.exe version of this since Server 2003. The best use for this is on a domain controller. When you use this method, Active Directory has already started so you can reset the Domain Admin password: http://blog.danovich.com.au/2015/06/18/why-we-need-to-keep-domain-controllers-physically-secure/

Resetting the Domain Admin password is not so easy from one of the many boot CD's that can reset workstation passwords trivially, which makes this method extra useful.

Edited to add - you can of course boot from a Linux CD with suitable storage driver to mount the drive RW and rename/copy CMD.exe using that

Now with the sticky keys...(sethc.exe) Who uses them anyway?

I don't use sticky keys, but I use filter keys by accident all the time. I have a bad habit typing away, then hitting the shift key to start a new sentence, then deciding that is a good place to think about something, all while holding down the shift key - every time it happens I swear at myself, but I keep doing it, so I'm going to have to look into some negative reinforcement, I guess.

thank you for sharing this will come in handy as sometimes i have customers give me one password but fail to tell me they have passwords for other things or the password they give me does not work for some reason
