Bryce Whitty here from Technibble.com and in this video I’d like to offer a tip to make your cold calls more effective.
So I personally give cold callers mere seconds to tell me what they’re about before I hang up. And many others feel the same towards cold callers. Cold calling can work, but if you are cold calling, you need to have a value value proposition. Something that only you could do, or something that you do better than everybody else. It can’t be the usual remote monitoring and antivirus because pretty much everyone offers that. Not only that, you need to be able to convey what unique thing is in just ONE sentence, because many people won’t give you the time to do a whole spiel.
It’s a little bit like how writers write headlines. They need to convey what the article is about in just a few words in an intriguing way. You are creating a compressed headline of your unique MSP services. Of course, you aren’t trying to do the main selling over the phone. You want to tell them that you were just calling to introduce your business and you can keep it casual by saying that you’ll gonna be in the area next week. You could stop by for 15 minutes and have a chat about how you could help them.
You should never expect them to buy on the first pitch and this method is far more effective than trying to hard sell over the phone and gets your point across quickly.
I hope this helps, and if you need some more help, Head on over to Technibble.com
