Bryce Whitty here from Technibble.com and in this video I would like to talk about the Managed Services sales cycle.

The MSP sales cycle is quite long, and one marketing “touch” with a prospect is simply not enough.

If you haven’t heard the term “touch” or “touchpoint” in a marketing context, it means a method of contact between you and your customer. This can be an in person visit, or a phone call, or an email, or whatever.

You’ll find all sorts of books or internet articles about marketing and how many touches it takes to make a sale. You’ll hear ranges from 5 all the way up to 20 or more. But the number that pops up generally the most is 7.

A lot of MSPs will send out one bit of marketing and if it doesn’t work, call it a day but you need to be sending out multiple touches, whether that’s content, direct messages, Facebook remarketing or follow-up phone calls.

Sometimes people WANT to be convinced. Sometimes its just not the right time when you send the first message, but it might be when you send the 7th.

If you need some help with sending out content to your prospects, then head on over to Technibble.com and join our membership.

We have a huge archive of done-for-you content to send to your prospects. It’s not drip-fed and you have access to everything day-1. The exact content you want is available exactly when you need it.

That’s it for this video, thank you for watching and I hope to see you inside the membership.
