Core Temp is a free, stand alone utility that shows the temperature of your CPU. However, unlike other temperature monitoring software, Core Temp will show you the temperature of each individual core in each processor in your system. It will show you the temperatures in real time so you can see the CPU temperature varies depending on the load on your CPU.
This compact application also has a logging feature allowing you to log the temperature over a period of time. Core Temp works on both the 32 and 64bit versions of Windows 2000, XP, and 2003.

How does this work for some PCs which don’t seem to have any way to show the Temp. My laptop’s BIOS doesn’t seem to show it and I don’t know that there is a utility for it would this work or do you know what is required for this to work.
