Windows Repair Toolbox – Windows Repair Multi-Tool
Windows Repair Toolbox is a free application designed to quickly download and run the most commonly used software when approaching a damaged Windows install. It aims to make the process of repairing a Windows install faster, easier and more uniform.
It makes use of free third-party software which it can download and run at the push of a button, as well as having shortcuts to common folders and system commands. It shows system information such as CPU, RAM and Hard Drive usage as well as CPU temperate. It also possesses some basic automation abilities to run a few of the tools in sequence.
Applications can be pre-downloaded so you have what you need when there is no internet connection. Also, when you are done using it on the clients computer, simply uninstall the tool and it takes whatever it downloaded with it.
Windows Repair Toolbox is available in both an installer version as well as a portable version. It requires .NET Framework 4 to run and works on Windows XP all the way up to Windows 10.
The developer is a Technibble forum member and has been running a development thread for about a year now.
They are very active with updates and are open to suggestions from Technibble members to help improve the application.
Note: Due to its system modifying nature, some antivirus products may detect it as malicious. This is a false positive.

Looks like a great shortcut to get things done.
Is there a way to use it on a system that does not have internet connection? Like loading all the downloads to a stick before going to the client.
figured it out. i loaded each program. just wish that there would have been a “download all” option.

It can, but it would only work partially, and would be very a poor workaround, IMO:
– some downloads are tied to the OS edition and version where they are performed, so in a different OS a new download would always be required (for instance, a 64 bits version of a program wouldn’t work in a 32 bits version of Windows);
– That wouldn’t work with the Malware Removal programs, because regarding this tools WRT will always attempt to download a fresh copy.
– It would be a pain and not practical to carry around a big folder filled with downloads, and transfer it to each machine…
I’d be happy with downloading multiple “editions” as 128GB flash drives are cheap enough…
RE: malware removal tools, there should be a way to turn off auto-update so you CAN use them as-is. However, would be good to be able to update the portable apps on the stick once back at the shop’s wifi. I routinely carry AVG bootable CD + the newest definitions which I update from USB.

Sometimes it’s the internet connection which IS the first, main issue…Why not have a few pre-internet requirement tools to disinfect & to then fix connectivity (such as netsh winsock reset, etc).

if there’s no internet connectivity and you click “CompIntRep” or “NetRepairAIO” buttons (they are in the first tab of the program, in the groupbox “Repairs”), Windows Repair Toolbox will attempt to repair the connection itself.
not meaning to knock the guy who did a great service but he probably works in a lab and not in clients homes and offices.
When I try to download portable version. My Sonicwall has a fit with site says untrustworthy. WOT flags it? What’s up?
When I did the review, 1/57 antiviruses in VirusTotal marked it as a generic malware (left the Note in the article).
Now, 0/57 mark it as malicious. Its a false positive due to its system-changey nature.
Tried it on a couple machines tonight. Works well, all things considered. A neat ‘extra’ tool for the kit. Thanks!
Just used this the other day, it’s a great way to automate the repair process. We’ve used others like it before, mainly TechWARU through Repairtech, but this one is a quick tool for the USB stick. We’ll definitely use it for computer repair customers in San Diego.

I have used this almost exclusively recently and am very impressed.
It uses many tools that are commonly used but quickly brings in the current version and actions it.
Commendations to the developer, it is efficient and robust, better than similar pay for versions around which tend to be rather cumbersome.
And yes, the developer certainly deserves support!
