$5 gets you a Win 7 Start Menu in Win 8

Looks promising. I also think (assuming Microsoft doesn't find a way to block it), that it will sell very well. I'm guessing though that if you launch a metro 'app' from the Start8 menu, that it will still have to open the traditional Metro interface before the app can work?
 
I believe the article said it runs as a background service, so maybe it pops right up. It would be nice if it were that transparent.
 
Seen adware intertwined with stardock stuff in the past. Notice on computers that have it, running scans...usually they'll have adware stuff too.

I liken it to incredimail.

Ain't getting that software with 100 feet of my computers.
 
I can see three things happening with this product.

1. Shortly after Windows 8 really hits market this program will quadruple in price.

2. Microsoft will most certainly kill it with the first SP.

3. It will be one of the most pirated bits of software in history.
