I have looked at the other cases and this one is different.

When the wifi isn't connected to anything i get an access denied and server can't be found. Yet, when I connect it to wifi, ANY wifi, not even on the corp network, no vpn or anything, it works.

And it only does it for files opened by Microsoft office. Pdf's and everything else works. I can install an office alternative and it works. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled office. Only worked on 1 of the 3 laptops.

Seriously at a loss here. Any input would be awesome.

Folder redirection does strange things on release 1809, you need patches. But the machine holds a cached copy of stuff, so it's supposed to "just work" while you're offline and resync when it gets back to a network that supports it.

So are you reporting actual errors and problems? Or just junk in the event viewer?

An actual pop up error.

And it doesn't matter if I'm connected to a hotspot or coffee house wifi, it will work without VPN, but as soon as wifi is disconnected. Same error.

Nope, files are there. I can access them when connected to any network and can also access it with an alternative office suite, like libre office.

I posted this on a reddit sub and some people there stated it was on another post that it was due to a recent office update.

I'm just wondering if there is a way to roll back to a revision after a fresh re install of office has been performed.
