Anyone know where I can buy Adobe Acrobat Standard XI legally and without a subscription?

I only need 6 copies...

(The Adobe Plans and Pricing is confusing as hell).

Thanks!

That's a great option... but not for this circumstance. They are a lawyers office and the land title office NEEDS XI =(

I was looking into this a while ago. Adobe is really trying to force everyone into a subscription model. I did find that Adobe Acrobat DC Standard/Pro was available as a standalone purchase. But I never found the regular Adobe products as standalone.

I spoke with Adobe Sales today and they claim that if you subscribe to Acrobat DC you can then downgrade to XI.

There is not a product key, your subscription to ADC through Adobe Creative Cloud lets XI install.

The salesman got a little sketchy on details so I am not holding my breathe.

I am going to test this on Tuesday.

"Needs" or "is only willing to consider"?

Pretty much "is only willing to consider"... or maybe more accurately "hasn't kept up with the latest offerings".

But I see this all the time.

Our hospitals in BC run on Windows XP.

The portal to access XRays can only be done with IE 6.

So BC Online and LTO all running on discontinued software is not news to anyone here.

I tried to get one of my lawfirm clients to switch to Nitro Pro and they admitted that it could do everything they needed but they hated the GUI and asked for Adobe anyway. And now Adobe has made major changes in the GUI for the DC version and they hate that too. LOL.
