On Namecheap? It's included as part of the hosting as long as you have the DNS pointing to them. Home routers may not be able to take advantage of it because they're built with only dyn.com and maybe 1-2 others, but a local PC, server, or scriptable router can do so.
Basically you create a subdomain entry (e.g. locationid.company.com), then set up something to connect to their server using the subdomain entry and security key you've set up and it updates where the DNS entry for that item points.
