Hey all!
Have an odd one. Client computer, an Asus Rog G20, replaced the graphics card with a GTX 2060. Upon reboot, BIOS states "Please enter setup to recover BIOS setting" and "no Keyboard (and mouse) detected" and will not let you proceed into BIOS or any further. (photo is attached, not users computer, but same exact message)
The initial fix for this was:
1) Turn off PC
2) Remove graphics card
3) Turn on the PC (using on board graphics)
(no more keyboard not detected error)
4) Enter BIOS
5) Reset bios to defaults, saving
6) Reboot then Shut Down
7) Install Graphics Card
The keyboard not detected issue arises when the power cord is removed. As this keyboard issue appeared wen the user booted up the computer at home. (he ran the fix above on my directions) then he apparently needed to move the computer, unplugging the power, and it occured again.
Google Fu shows maybe two posts about this occurring after putting in a new graphics card, but no solutions.
Any thoughts or suggestions on this one?
Thank you!
