[SOLVED] Best Adhesive for Laptop Rubber Feet?

Solution: rubber cement that comes with a brush, clear silicone RTV glue, glue dots, or hot glue.

I bought myself some Gorilla Glue rubber cement.

Oftentimes have to remove laptop rubber feet to access hidden screws.

Learned the hard way that super glue is a poor adhesive choice for this job because it clogs the screws' head.

I was thinking that perhaps rubber cement would be a good choice.

What do you recommend?

+1 for rubber cement, but NOT THAT STUFF! Well, it might work, but it's not what's been known everywhere for generations as "rubber cement"; it looks like what you use to put patches on inner tubes. Made to stick to patches and inner tubes, not metal.

What you want is this stuff. It's available almost anywhere that has office supplies or school supplies:

Yikes. I didn't look at the link. Yeah that's tire patching glue.

Is this available in a tube with a thin nozzle? Not a fan of using a fairly large brush.

Not that I've ever seen, but it's not really a problem to get as much or as little as you want with the brush. If you really need something in a tube, no doubt there are plenty of choices that would work. Shoe Goo comes to mind, for one. Or RTV silicone like @Diggs suggested, although it takes maybe a bit longer to get strong enough to move around without worry. A craft store would probably have a number of other options.

It is easier to use with a brush that you think. And the brush on a small bottle isn’t very big. Ive also used toothpicks.

I saw a car driving down the freeway here in Vic the other day. Had the front bumper ducted taped everywhere, was a hot day as well so not really effective. I think they may have had an accident though to be fair.z

Oooo! Nice thought! I've got a couple of tubes around here (black and clear). I worry it may be a bit too tough over a screw hole but the stuff is amazing.
