Best way to facilitate roaming users for M365

The actual Microsoft domain where I'd like to apply the licenses is like NETORGFT7625973.onmicrosoft.com which is a previous GoDaddy domain (of course I'm using my own domain on top of that).

Since I can see myself using SharePoint and OneDrive I'd like the onmicrosoft.com domain to be more friendly or branded like timeshifter.onmicrosoft.com instead of NETORGFT65343858.onmicrosoft.com. I know it's a minor detail and not seen frequently by users, but I've got my quirks.

There's only one actual email account on there. The other email I'd use with it is on Google Workspace, so I'd have to Skykick them over anyways.

I just need to make a decision on what I'd like that subdomain to be.

They will not, the redemption process is a coupon code with specific instructions specifically to allow you to pick your tenant.
I'm in the process now. I don't know if this is different than your experience, but it sounds different. Sounds like it's purchased through the tenant it will go in.

Is the account verified and approved? Check verification status
When you enroll in a new program in Partner Center or change legal details in your profile, Microsoft verfies the information that you provide, such as your company name, company address, and primary contact details. During this process, Microsoft may send email to your primary contact to request more verification documentation. Verficiation Status = "Authorized" means your account is verified and good for Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program purchases.

We are updating our payment experience to utilize your existing Microsoft Billing Profile for Azure, Microsoft 365, and Marketplace purchases. To set up your Microsoft billing profile for Membership purchases, your organization's Global admin needs to link your Microsoft Billing Profile on your tenant. The purchase runs through the associated Azure billing account, that's not the same as the M365 tenant it's bound to.

Azure can have multiple subscriptions, and they don't have to be bound to an M365 enabled tenant and associated directory after all.Z

What you're looking at is the purchase of the partner benefits package, that's utterly separate from the benefit redemption process. I buy the partner benefits mid December, then redeem them early Jan. I do this so buy myself time to sort out Microsoft changes before the M365 stuff runs out.
