Looks like the digitizer is broke but the LCD might be fine? Edit: both are broke.

I have no experience replacing just a digitizer - working with heat gun and suction cups to remove it. Seems like a pain to put back together, too.

Screen part number: 764622-001

If they are adhered together, usually just makes more sense to replace the whole thing, in my experience. Not always the case, but most of the time it is.

It's almost never worth the time, the LCD+Digitizer is so much easier to install. The money in time you put in to separate the old assembly, and put it back together again will more than offset for the purchase price of the larger part. Not to mention the risk of damaging the thing getting them apart.

Replace both.

This is the sort of crap you do on a trade in unit in your spare time for some marginal income, not a service you sell to anyone.

Not sure the model of that laptop but if like the one's I've done previously those are easy peasy to swap screens. The screen isn't glued to the digi, it's taped to the bezel. Just put it on a heat mat face down, heat it to 75C and you can lift the screen right off the bezel. Get a new bezel with digi, put down some tesa tape and set the old LCD on it. Pretty simple job really.

I just watched a video of someone doing it. Wow, it was so easy. He did not need heat or suction cups. He just used a card to separate the screen/bezel from the backside! Then, the LCD easily separates from the digitizer by unscrewing the two.

Very easy :) Joy, joy, joy! LOL.

It looks like if the LCD is broke, too, that both the LCD and the digitizer would have to be replaced as two separate units - I do not see a whole, complete assembly for sale. That would be a very expensive repair.

Edit: both are broke.
