BSOD in windows 10

Also before i changed the hard drive it would not boot and would not show the installed m.2 but i just accredited that to a failing ssd. If turned off and back on it would boot. I actually didnt see it happen but the client sent me a pic of the screen.

I did pull and reseat as that helps more than one would think but no never used a eraser.

NO other way to test nmve no. Rarely see them. They are popping up now but not a ton. I just order a couple types of m.2 adapter this week.

To be honest the eraser thing is really old school. As in the '70's, even earlier. But I still do it just in case anyone asks. Yep, got myself some extra adapters a while ago because of all these new drive connectors.

figure it might be the ribbon cable to the m.2. So i ordered a new cable. Client is luckily understanding. This has been such a fun job.

@Markverhyden
Did you happen to see the question about the adapters you wound up getting? Just curious. I'm gonna buy some this week.
Thanks

Sorry just been swamped. I'll have to search through my my orders. Much of my customer base is Apple. So I've bought them from one vendor but those were USB2.... But I have one or two from someone else as mentioned on here because they were SATA based for speed reasons.
