Can't add IMAP

I have Outlook 2021 with 6 Gmail accounts. I am trying to add add a 7th but I keep getting an error about the password.
I was able to load the Gmail account on Emclient so I know that the Gmail configuration isn't the issue. HD has 160gb free. I tried using a new Outlook profile and still no joy I don't know what else to check.
I am at a loss.

Are you being walked through Gmail's OAUTH process as part of setting up this account? You should be.

Have you looked in the security section of the Google Account that you're trying to set up? There may be something on that side of the equation that gives you a hint (or direct cause) for what's going on.

Microsoft apps & services was given account access​

and 2021 is allowed access to Gmails new security requirements.
Emclient is working so the security should be allowing access.
I don't know what else to try.

Something's being blocked, somewhere, and the logs on one side or the other should indicate what/where that is.

2 step must be on for that account
get an app password

seems that if it was in use before the stop date it is still available, but if it was never set up it's not there.

I can report that I can still get to them and that I had not been using any, either. I used the link given by @callthatgirl

With respect, the very link you cite mentions app passwords.

This setting is not available for accounts with 2-Step Verification enabled. Such accounts require an application-specific password for less secure apps access. Learn more

For grins I just created a brand new Google account and was able, after setting up SMS Two Factor authentication(gasp!), to create an app password for the account.

Ok we need screenshots not links. Because links take us to OUR Google accounts which tells us nothing about your account. It sounds like you do not have. 2FA enabled.

What browser are you using? And do you have any extensions enabled that might block the pages like an adblocker?

Did you setup 2 step first? It requires it. I use phone text.

I checked other gmail accounts that I have and the 2 step option is available, just not on this account.
