Change font size in Thunderbird message view pane

Does anyone know of a way to change the font size in Thunderbird's message view pane? There used to be an add on that worked, but sadly it no longer does.

The functionality to change it used to be a standard part of Thunderbird options. I can't understand why they would remove it and give us a 6 pt. font only.

Who writes these programs?!?! lol

EDIT: It seems that the add on - "Theme and Font changer fixed" does work. On both systems I tried in on, Win 8.1 & 10 Home, I had to open and close T-bird a couple of times to get it to initialize. Hope others will find this helpful. I have a lot of elderly clients who regularly complain that they are unable to read the incoming message subject.

That is the version I am using on two systems. It works, after you restart the program a couple of times....kinda buggy...
