Sorry Kev, I can't comment on the leaf blower, as I don't use them.

One thing which I would look at, is how much air it moves in comparison to the datavac.

Is it not feasible to use the datavac, if you built an enclosure, together with a vacuum to remove said dust and debris?
 
I'm the same Kev. It's been a long time since I used a can of air. Still have a couple left, I occasionally sell to a client, but thats it. Datavac all the time.

Even started wearing a dust mask now. Some of the machines coming in, are FULL of dirt/dust, and lately its been getting on my chest :(
 
I'm gonna keep saying this every time these threads pop up.

For your safety, especially in a building with other tenants, do NOT BLOW PC DUST INTO THE OPEN AIR INSIDE A BUILDING.

Get yourself a good, small aperture, high velocity vacuum. Even a 5hp shop vac reduced down to the electronics nozzle is better, something like a Miele is dramatically better yet.
