Cyberwarfare

This just sounds like one of those articles or stories that have no real data that can be tied to anything.
In my initial post i said that you should visit NASA official website for more info.
If you consider NASA as a no proof storry teller then that's fine with me.
Example
Computer virus infections are up 200% over previous years! Wow that sucks right. Well, if you are comparing to the 1980's then not really becasue there might be a 1000% more computers.
Why you geeks are allways bringing up examples from the compter world
I just got one of those examples thrown at me in the thread with "Carry guns on the job"...
Is it because you grew up with computers?
Back in my childhood days I grew up with Joules Vernes and Issaac Asimov.
When I got into computers I was a fully grown adult.

Edit:
To rectific, I didn't literally grow up with Issaac Asimov, let alone Jules Vernes.
What I meant was I was reading their books.

TBH I've never trusted nasa since the moon landings

Funny you should say that.
I actually have my doubts about the flipping in the wind US flag as the whole story in fact.
Not to mention "Hangar 18"

And I actually remember watching the first landing live (or so they said that it was "live") in 1969.... I was old enough to remember.
A black and white screen..... wow, a lifetime has passed since.

wow... people are a bit edgy lately. LOL

Now let me claify my post. Everyone (Organizations Included) will slant facts and statistics in their favor if they stand to gain from what they publish. My post was not an attack on NASA, you, or anyone else. My point is that facts and figures don't tell the whole picture becaue there are very, very, few people that write without an agenda...

This means that you get at best half of the picture everytime you read an article... Sure NASA put this information out there... but I bet there are other scientist that can argue the other way.... Global Warming as an example.

So... the actual point of my posts... When numbers and percentages are thrown into the mix you have to take them with a grain of salt because they are the easiest thing in thing in the world to use a "proof" when they often have no bering on the validity of an argument.

I urge everyone to take a day and realy examine the numbers thrown out in the news, scientific journals, and political campaigns. You will find that many things do not really mean what that are saying they mean.
