Dropbox questions

So I have this client,

They store all their files on a central computer(Win7 Professional), each folder is password protected so the other people in the office can't see everyone's files except their own.

They want to load Dropbox on this computer, and make it so each of them can access their files from their Ipad. Can Dropbox do this and still keep each folder private? Or do I need to get Dropbox teams?


It is kind of a complicated setup, but can it work with dropbox?

It could work with a lot of sharing rules. Set up one dropbox account for each person, one for the server, then share the desired folders with the user accounts. Maybe not ideal, but it can work.

No I just made several users on the main computer and shared the folders to specific users.
