Firefox Extension Deactivated

What a pain in the butt! BitWarden as well as all my other beloved extensions are not available because of this. Had to switch to Chrome until they fix this bloody mess!

Hmm, my uBlock Origin and LastPass were both disabled last night, but they are back working fine tonight. Maybe you need to check for Firefox updates?

Ghacks.net covered this info and I was like in my case who cares I write protected my extensions to avoid this crap cause really I am not going to endure the crap at the end of youtube videos ever again.

Its funny because at the bottom of FF it says:

Thanks for choosing Firefox and supporting an independent web. You're awesome!

Anyway, @Diggs you can re-enable the addons/extensions. Just go to about:addons and then click on the link that says show more about disabled addons. Once there, click on any extension and they all will be re-enabled. At least that worked for me.

you can re-enable the addons/extensions

I've done that a couple of times this morning already and nothing. Hmm...... I've removed it also and when downloading new it won't. It tells me to "Download failed. Please check your connection.". WTF?

This is what happens when your browser runs its own independent certificate stack. Chrome uses the OS's certificate stack.
This strikes me as assuming that OS certificate stack is somehow significantly more reliable or less prone to botched updates.
