Hi, I've been battling this for hours, I found this nice boot disc based on Hirens, it has a mini win 7 and tons of other tools, I works fine burned as a cd but trying to load it on my yumi multiboot usb drive removes the tools from it, anybody know the fix? I had this issue before with hiren's minixp menus too but I can't remember out how I fixed it! Heres the torrent file>http://kickass.to/dlc-boot-2013-1-2-t7100360.html

Sorry, the web page you have requested is not available through Virgin Media.

I wouldn't use it for love or money. I use Falcon4's boot disc sometimes, which is also based on hirens but adds some more tools...and forget Yumi, use Easy2Boot....it's flippin' rad.

Thanks, I'll check into it!

If you knew how extremely easy it was to create your own WinPE disk, you would be using a custom one created by by yourself! Maybe in the future I will write a tutorial for you.

I did this years ago but just now decided to get back into it, I have various boot discs with assorted tools, I'm just trying to combine my favs somehow into one multiboot usb, I'm finding problems with some iso's converting to multiboot, I need to find a good tutorial on grub4dos syslinux, etc.

Really, seriously, and truly, just use Easy2Boot. The developer is on these forums, too.

My multiboot is a single partition fat32 thumb drive with parted magic, kaspersky rescue, falcon4, memtest, konboot, Manjaro, and NT offline password changer, and it's also got folders I use as a regular tool drive when not booting to it---all my scripts, my d7, my ketarin apps, etc.

The text says it's "based on Hiren's". How is it different? Did they take out the remaining pirated software?

No they put more back in.

"Hiren's Boot CD is a very popular System Rescue CD everyone should have hands down. But now many useful tools can't be included in the CD due to copyright problems, so that the CD's become useless to us. And this DLC Boot CD is rebuilt based on the version 15.2 of Hiren's Boot CD. ."

I foolishly clicked the link and after 1 minute on the site I had a nice porn pop up. That's what vm's are for.

It is really best to create your own. WinPE is easily modified. Using winbuilder and winbuilder scripts. You just need to get the tools from WAIK.

In the near future I will be releasing an addition to my PXE-Dust project that will create a WinPE for you on your computer and add YOUR own copy of FABS and D7II. Along with drivers, and a custom background. If you need to update it all you have to do is run my script again.

I had this revelation while working on my new Network Windows Installer plugin. As long as you have a WAIK installed it is extremely easy to make a script that will automagically create an awesome little WinPE. In turn that PE is able to be added to in the future and booted via PXE.

Sounds more like they're saying they put the pirated stuff back INTO it.
I thought that's what I said. There are many versions out there trying to re-create the ol' Hirens magic regardless of the software licenses.

I realized today that I haven't needed Hiren's in a long time, everything I use is either really free or I paid for. To each his own. I'm not sure I would use this on a customers computer, though.

Well it is a torrent so that should be expected.
Yes, I thought it might be a nasty little torrent site, which is why I browsed from inside virtualbox.
