HDD Regenerator Use ?

HDD Regenerator is something that was used at one of the last places I worked. Usually it would report that all bad sectors have been repaired but the computer would be back the next day or a few days after with the same hard drive problem. From my experience it's best to backup the data and replace the hard drive when you start having problems. Sometimes you might just have one chance to get the data off the drive so I wouldn't risk it by using HDD Regenerator.

Freezing the hard drive is a myth and that does not work. Anyone who tells you to freeze the drive probably doesn't know anything about hard drives and I would avoid them.

IIRC he also said a fridge for 24 hrs is better than a freezer for 2 hrs.
