Help with a server please

Some great advice in this thread, though something caught my eye and got me wondering.

I'm pretty sure this would be in violation of the software terms. Don't have time to find a source to confirm, but I'm pretty sure if they have 15 active users of the software, they need 15 licenses. The 5 installs per user is designed for situations where an employee might have a desktop, a laptop, and a tablet or something like that. Not for 5 employees to use on 5 desktops as the same time.

I could be wrong here though.

I'm pretty sure your right. Because the Office 365 apps require that you are logged in

I am almost certain that is for 3 - 5 packs. 15 Users total. The situation you mention, about desktop plus laptop, has never been used in counting the number of users in a License from what I have seen. It's been a while since I have read one of their EULA's but that "feature" was always mentioned in the EULA language as a limitation. So if you have a single user it was the same as a 5, or what ever, pack. Two installs (devices) per user. Don't know if that has changed with the advent of W8 RT Pro or not.
