HELP with ADI file

Okay, this is weird. If I go to FilExt.com, search on ADI, I get the same top of page as I screenshotted. If I click on the link for ADI shown, it no longer talks at all about Active Disk Image but about turns to talking about Advantage Database as the 'main' use of the extension.

Either way, the OP could/should certainly have been able to figure this one out for himself in a few seconds. I doubt we'll hear back...he's one of those types who only ever comes by for help and never to contribute. We must have at least 89 of those guys.

Yep, I didn't do the search. I browsed the alphabetical list because I wanted to see all the versions. Must not be a true database just a manually put together website. And somebody missed a link.

Dude, site reads
" The ADI file type is primarily associated with 'Advantage Database Server' " .
the Big Book of Wordz says that "primarily" means mainly, for the most part etc, not only or exclusively. So it may be associated with other applications too.
Always check the evidence as you want to be sure cause sometimes words have two meanings.

And where does it say that HERE?

I didn't do the search. I looked at the alphabetical list. Because I wanted to see a list of all the ADI file types. Now if I look at that list it doesn't say a damn thing about primary or secondary. It also doesn't mention the backup program at ALL, even though another part of the website does. Why would I look at a file type that has obviously has no connection? I didn't look at the details for the Adobe Plot file either. Database or plotter file. Neither is the kind of file the OP was looking for yet Xander said it was there.

My comment to Xander was based on NOT seeing the correct file type in the list. Lord shoot me for making an assumption that the list was complete. Obviously it is not.
