HP mini 210 wont boot and has white screen

I bought this HP mini used. The HP Mini now has a white screen, won't boot up. I was able to connect to an external monitor and it worked for awhile, meaning it booted and loaded the OS and all seemed well. But now it doesn't boot at all. I disassembled the (entire computer) screen to make sure all was connected properly and it appears to be. When powered on, you can hear what is either the fan or the HDD. Unless someone has an idea of what is wrong, I'm thinking possibly it's the motherboard (onboard graphics card) and it will need replacing. I re-seated the memory module. The OS is Windows 7 Starter.

Could be either MB or video cable. Its hard to tell but for the price of MB's for these things (I am seeing 39 and below) might just order in both to be sure.

Do you get a POST screen at all on any screen? If not, I'd try a BIOS update with an external programmer. I understand they often get corrupted. My HP Mini 110 did and a BIOS update fixed it.

Sorry for taking so long to answer. Thanks, Larry and I did not think to do a BIOS update. And no, I do not get POST. Just an all white screen.

10:1 that a BIOS fix fixes the problem, but I think you will have to either replace it or remove it re-program it using an external programmer. I sent mine out for that because I didn't have a programmer at the time; the re-programming service with shipping cost me more than the programmer I eventually got.
