Hurricane Harvey

If you are interested in live on the ground updates, download the broadcastify app, then go to metro areas, then Houston and look for the popular channels with listeners in yellow. The Harris county sherrif frequency has been going nuts 24/7. "high water rescues" every few minutes. Shelters are full to overflowing. People who are calling for help are running out of cell phone battery power so they are ending up sitting on roofs in the dark with no way to call for help. Really sad situation.

@Your PCMD is in Gainsville TX. That is NORTH of Dallas. Like me, he is hundreds of miles away from all that.
Wondering how you are doing now @Porthos and if it affected @Your PCMD as well.
I was actually on a flight to Tennessee when the Hurricane hit. Though were I am located, it would not affect me, however, my daughter goes to University of Texas in Austin and was hit by it, though she thankfully is fine.

This is my Dad's home, but technically our second house. He didn't want to "shelter in place" by himself. So, my wife and I (with our two children) decided to come shelter in place with him. My home is on into Houston.

The silver truck is mine along with some furniture we have [had] downstairs.

The interesting part is we still have electricity and Internet.
