Thanks. I've also texted telling this client if she's never looked at iCloud from a computer, be it a Mac or a PC, she needs to do so just to see if those photos might be there.

I'd have to believe that photo syncing would have been at the "by device" level where each device would see the photos it took, but not the ones others took, but I could be wrong. But in any case, anyone using an iPhone should always check what's in iCloud from a different device.
