Customer said HDMI out just stopped working, he updated drivers and it fixed it, then it didnt work again the next day.
I brought it to my shop and it worked fine. I uninstalled/reinstalled the latest driver for Intel HD graphics for Win 11 and it continued to work. I shut off the computer and rebooted and now I can't get the HDMI to output anything. (the second monitor doesnt show up in the device manager) I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the driver but makes no difference.

They recently updated to Windows 11 but from what I can tell the problem existed before that. (I have a feeling he updated to Windows 11 when the problem started.)

Anyone seen anything like this?

Test with a bootable USB like a *nix distro like nline said...else, I'd suspect a zapped HDMI port. And I've seen zapped HDMI ports in laptops at least several times. They travel, they get junk in there, and they frequently get stuff hot swapped in and out of them all the time doing presentations and stuff....good chance for a static "zap".
