Logo Design Critique

Those logos are for purchase. It was design by different designers and you can purchase them and edit them how you want. You own the license to use it on business card website an so forth.

Ah sorry, I see now. So they supply them in a vector format? Like Illustrator?

I'm not really sure about any of them for a tech support biz. But if I had to choose, then I'd go for the E Works one.

I believe it is a vector format. Do you mind elaborating on the statement about how they may not work for a tech support biz. What i am really after is the design i can change the name to my company name and everything.

Thank You for the suggestion.

If you're gonna go this route I would try one one of the bid sites like 99designs or 48hourlogo. At least that way you can elaborate on your company a little and have them make something that fits better.

I would but my budget is tight. These logos are only $29.

If your budget is that tight you may want to think about going into business. I think your logo is one of the most important things to get right. It goes on your advertising, newspapers, signs, car, business cards, flyers, clothing etc. It's your identity.

Yes, but they aren't a good fit for your company.

Logo design is not graphics design, you are creating art to portray your entire company, a lot of research goes into it behind the scenes. I usually don't even recommend 99designs or 48hour for this very reason, but on a budget you can get a decent logo tailored to your company for under $100. If that's too much, do side work before you start the company.

I understand but can anyone tell me if any of these logos look awesome or not?

Personally I like this One http://0.s3.envato.com/files/5674906/3D-95.jpg

Those other site ask so much money for a logo why will i hurt myself like that when i can get logos like these (and there are many more where those came from) for less.

The only reason people are suggesting it is that you are buying ready made logos whereas the sites mentioned take your name and your input and create one for you. Think about it, it's a little different asking people's opinion on designs created for you than to try and envisage your name on a ready made one.

I'm not trying to be negative, just trying to help.

I see what you guys are saying. I am filling out the form for 99 design, but cant make up my mind on the types of logos you like section. Can anyone input which type works best for the industry?

Select them all if you aren't sure. The easiest to work with logos are going to be 2D, print and web safe, and somewhat bright. Take a look at signatures and websites of members here to get an idea on what you want.

I looked into 99 design but to much for mke right now. I want to do some side work first but how am i to get found out with no business cards.

Why did you go from the cheapest option in the thread to the most expensive(99designs)? Did you click on the digital point link I posted? Did you look at 48hourlogo?

Do you just want someone else to do everything for you?

I suggest you consider holding off from buying some generic Avatar/Icon to use as a company logo. If anything, find a font to use with your already-chosen business name and later on find a logo that fits your particular brand. If you excel at networking, repairs, etc., then create one that says so.

Tbh if you're just starting up I wouldn't worry too much about a logo. I've never really had one in 8 years and am not in a huge rush to get one.

Do you really think that people are going to look at your website and say "I'm not phoning this guy, he doesn't even have a logo!"

If money's tight, then you need to be directing it to a more worthy cause than logo design. That can come later when the money starts to come in.

That is good advise guys thank you. I guess i van divert that money to SEO. By the way do any of you guys have experience with The Ultimate Tech Site SEO package.
